WordPress removing my closed tags
-
I just wrote a new post on my blog, and for some reason WordPress is removing my closing HTML tags. For example, I italicized something, but when I look at the blog post, it shows the tag was NOT closed and the rest of the post is italicized. When I hit “edit post” directly from the blog, the edit screen shows the closing tag is no longer there.
This happens with

.This is the first time it’s happened, and so far this is the only blog post that’s affected. I was able to get around the issue by using the Text Control plugin and turn off wpautop formatting, but it’s still annoying to have to mark up everything with
</p>
and the like.
