WordPress replaces post draft title with author name

  • I have a recurring problem and wonder if anyone else has seen this:

    When I have a draft in progress often—but not always and not predictably as far as I can tell—the title is deleted and the author name appears in its place. The post slug also changes to the author name with dashes between first-middle-last.

    Has anyone else seen this? I’ve seen it on more than on WordPress install and often enough to be annoying. Sometimes it coincides with another problem of automatic logout or when a browser quits, but sometimes I just load the site and there it is.

    Anyone?
