  • everything in your post above is about content. generally speaking, we don’t really care about content here, unless you’re stealing.

    we care about structure, readability, design.. that kind of stuff. features.. usability..

    your site, design wise, fails miserably. its the default theme. nifty. Not.

    your “about” page isnt one. who are you, why do I care about your opinions regarding “abc” subject? All of the ‘about’ stuff is missing.

    your site lacks identity, and lacks the appearance of a web master that is actively involved in it’s progression.

    that’s it — theres nothing left to say.

    Thanks for the feedback.

    I realize that I haven’t done anything aesthetically pleasing, but I would still appreciate feedback about usability and features (I do have a few plugins installed).

    The reason for no personal info in the About page is because I’m hoping that this will be a community site (i.e. it’s not about me).

    Well, I guess whooami could be harsh, however (it pains me to write this) I must agree. There’s no signature when using the default theme(who you are).

    Just keep trying and you’ll get there. Try other themes.

    How is she being harsh. This forum is supposed to be about wp customization. The only thing custom about this site is that it makes the default theme look even worse than usual.
