WordPress running really slow

    I have 2 sites running on the same domain with the same themes. 2 instances of WordPress on 2 different folders. One is running really slow. Both on 2.8.6 identical server and SQL database set-up. Any ideas?

  • I’d bet the problem is the external data that you are loading– the Amazon stuff, switchnewsmedia, that sort of thing. Beyond that, though, you are loading a lot of stuff on that page. You might try consolidating some of it.
