The wordpress blogs scrubs HTML–for example, it removes empty DIVs, disallows users from doing certain things (like putting classes on DIVs if they’re not Editors, etc.).

My author base is advanced enough that I want to disable this. I want straight-up HTML, whatever I write should be published straight.

How do I do this? I have no qualms with editing javascript/PHP code if necessary.

  • Simple way– turn off rich text editor in both places and use html option in simple editor.

Resolved: the solution is to use the pure-HTML (non-visual) editor, and to make sure the user role allows any HTML.

But, OOPS it still shows incorrect format….

I am using a wordpress-mu (1.2.1), where i need to post a raw html with javascript that needs to appear nicely. I tried this with disabling – Use the visual editor when writing from Users – > Your profile.

Is there any solution or plugin that actually allows users to post (HTML with javascript) under Code Tab Editor, when Use the visual editor when writing option is enabled. I need it desperately.

    Please Help…
