WordPress Search not displaying MEC results

Hello,

So, I created a website with a search bar up top, and it does not return results for events/categories or anything related to MEC.

I also purchased and set up the plugin SearchWP only to find the same results.

Any ideas why? I see that MEC has its own search bar.. but this search bar does not return posts, for example.. and I don’t really want to have 2 search bars.

How can this be resolved? Can MEC categories and events, and all its data be indexed? Thanks!
