WordPress sela – verify pinterest account (when having tried everything)

So, I am trying to verify my website at pinterest, I have looked and tried several options, none working:
1. Tried adding header plugin and add code here (https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-verify-your-wordpress-site-on-pinterest/)
2. Tried adding Pinterest Verify plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/pinterest-verify/)
3. Tried editing in appereance/header (https://etc.soundsfunny.ws/index.php/2013/07/simple-way-to-verify-pinterest-on-wordpress-org/#)Nothing is working, I keep getting a pop-up saying they (pinterest) couldnt connect to my site???
