• Allen, has anyone else reported issues with WordPress SEO and your plugin?

I think that is why my server load is going crazy when fetching posts.

When I deactivate WordPress SEO and fetch, I get a slight bump in server load but very minimal.
When I activate WordPress SEO and fetch, the server load gets so high I am essentially locked out of doing anything backend or frontend. Might as well go fishing until it finally comes back to life!

I currently have about 135 feeds but I don’t think the # of feeds are the issue.

I haven’t heard about any interaction between that plugin and mine. I would imagine the server load goes up when you fetch since it’s processing all those feed items (which is why this is on a cron scheduler so it can be done in the background).

Sounds right. Have been checking since I deactivated the seo plugin. Am still getting server load spikes but not as high. I read somewhere that wordpress seo is heavy on resources so I guess that is not helping response times when activated.

Actually I want to add more feeds!!!

Read your webpage again about scheduling. Maybe it’s better if I break them down into smaller batches. I’ll ask my host support how to write the chron jobs.

Tried the Feed id example and got this response
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/whiddy54/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/inc/feeds_to_array.php on line 7
    success

Tried the category example and got this response
Fatal error: Call to undefined function rssmi_lb_filter_callback() in /home/whiddy54/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-rss-multi-importer/inc/excerpt_functions.php on line 506

Tried category again with an id in feed list. Got same error as for feed id
