wordpress seo not adding og:image tag with facebook plugin

  • Hi,
    I am using WordPress seo and facebook (official) plugin. I have enabled ‘Add Open Graph meta data’ in social tab and added image URL in the text boxes (Front page settings). Earlier it was working fine and adding og:image tag with the provided image in meta tags. but when I activated Facebook plugin, it is not adding og:image tag now.

    As per I found on other posts/forums, WordPress SEO filters the og tags if facebook plugin is enabled and add those that are not present. Right!! So it should og:image tag, because that is not added by facebook here..
