This week both WordPress SEO and WooCommerce issued updates. Both are now installed and WordPress SEO’s title line is showing on my WooCommerce product admin pages, but I cannot expand the WordPress SEO box to select various choices. I’m about to roll back the WooCommerce plugin (since the SEO plugin sounded pretty dire due to possible hack enabling), but I wondered if anyone else is experiencing this problem and if so do you have thoughts on a fix, other than rollback.

  • I am also experiencing this issue and as well as the screen option will not open only on product pages, help will also not open only on product pages and unable to click and rearrange the fields on the product page

I am also experiencing this and not being able to click on any of the fields to change.

Still no insight into what is causing this problem. I disabled WordPress SEO and the problem persists, so the only thing that changed was WooCommerce update to 2.3.6.

None of the “Publish” features on the upper right side of the Product admin pages are working. I click on the links that have always worked before and now none of them work.

Clearly there is a conflict with something. I’ll try disabling them one by one to see if I can figure that out. If anyone has successfully dealt with a similar problem for WC 2.3.6, I’d love to hear about it.

I disabled WordPress SEO and there was no change in the symptoms. I started disabling other plugins and noticed an incremental update to WooCommerce Smart Coupons was available (from 2.8.3 to 2.8.4). This update apparently addresses the problem for some reason. I now have full access to all the fields on the Product Admin pages for WooCommerce.

I also noticed that with Smart Coupons WordPress is not available. If i disable Smart Coupons, then WordPress SEO shows well with dropdown menu. ??
