WordPress shortcodes button

Which editor are you using?

i’ve tried using both the visual and html one but i dont see it

There isn’t a shortcode button on either bar by default. You have to add it by using a plugin.

what plugins can i use to add it?

i’ve tried using the Tiny MCE one but it doesn’t seem to be doing anything

https://www.themezilla.com/plugins/zillashortcodes/ found that – and it worked – it adds a button into the visual editor that lets me use shortcodes without having to remember the actual code
