WordPress site crashed after Yoast Version 15.8 Update

    I recently updated the Yoast plugin to version 15.8 and my WordPress site crashed. The error identified was:

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 60 of the file D:\home\site\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\src\builders\indexable-link-builder.php. Error message: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function Yoast\WP\SEO\Builders\Indexable_Link_Builder::__construct(), 2 passed in D:\home\site\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\src\generated\container.php on line 895 and exactly 3 expected in D:\home\site\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\src\builders\indexable-link-builder.php:60 Stack trace: #0 D:\home\site\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\src\generated\container.php(895): Yoast\WP\SEO\Builders\Indexable_Link_Builder->__construct(Object(Yoast\WP\SEO\Repositories\SEO_Links_Repository), Object(Yoast\WP\SEO\Helpers\Url_Helper)) #1 D:\home\site\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\src\generated\container.php(707): Yoast\WP\SEO\Generated\Cached_Container->getIndexableLinkBuilderService() #2 D:\home\site\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\src\generated\container.php(1802): Yoast\WP\SEO\Generated\Cached_Container->getPostLinkIndexingActionService() #3 D:\home\site\wwwroot\wp-content\plugins\wordpress-seo\src\generated\container.ph

    I was able to restore my site safely but had to deactivate the Yoast plugin and will likely have to look for an alternative. I use Elementor, Elementor Pro and Layers for Elementor. What are possible reasons for this error?
