WordPress site no longer appears – can't login!

  • I updated a plugin called WordPress FBConnect version 4 (I had version 3 of this plugin before with no problems). I also updated WordPress to the latest version 3.3.

    Since then my site no longer appears. So I cant even login to it as administrator. I just receive a blank page. Regardless of which browser, and Ive cleared the browser caches.

    So what can I do?

  • Hello felixcat,

    It sounds like there is a compatibility issue with either your theme or that plugin. I recommend manually switching your theme to the default theme by renaming your current theme folder (using either an FTP program or your web host’s File Manager). You can also manually disable plugins by renaming the plugins folder as well. This should then allow you to log into your dashboard.
