• Hello,

I figured out my first problem ?? Now the second.

On fosst.nl we have a joomla site running, which is fosst.nl/nl for Dutch, and fosst.nl/en for foreign visitors.

On fosst.nl/wp we have a testing environment with WP running. On the homepage the link seems to go correctly, but whenever you click on any menuitem it goes to fosst.nl/nl/wp/menuitem.

I don’t have any languages other than Dutch running on my WP website.

Anyone any idea how to fix it?

  • In your WP-Admin check how the pages are being linked to under menus.

Are you linking to the pages in WP or are you using custom relative links?

Relative links will cause it to link back to the Joomla site and cause the problems you are having.

Hopefully that helps and I explained that clearly. If not, I would be happy to try to explain it again.

If I understand correctly you mean to check the permalinks in the page’s menu? It’s correctly. So in the WP-admin it tells me the link is fosst.nl/wp/menuitem, but when i click it on the website it goes to fosst.nl/nl/wp/menuitem

No, I mean to check the actual links under Appearance >> Menus.

Do you have them selected as pages in WordPress or are the custom links? If they are custom links you need to make sure you entered them correctly.

    Hope that helps.

    They are selected as pages.

Hmm. Can you post your HTACCESS file for me to review. Maybe there is a problem with something in there.
