wordpress site suddenly went down

I was making some changes to my wordpress web page (adding additional pitures to my galleries), when it suddenly went down. I can’t seem to access it at all anymore, not even the admin panel. ?? Hopefully my account hasn’t been hacked. I’ve changed some code using editor (mostly the footer.php), but eveyrthing was stable and running smoothly earlier…
