WordPress site tagline shows in IOS Safari – and no where else

  • Hi people. This is really strange. I’ve removed the title and tagline from my WordPress-site (it’s still there, but it’s not “on top” of the site). That’s good. But still… I can see the tagline from my iPhone-browser. Why is that?!

    Even if I remove the

    “<title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title>”

    from my header.php and the title and tagline is utterly removed from the site (even from the top-browser-line), the tagline still shows up on my iPhone. And yes, I have refreshed ??

    It is SO strange. Please help! ??
