WordPress slow response time

  • Hello there,

    I launched a new WordPress website a few days ago. It uses a custom theme and some plugins.

    The issue i am facing is that if i navigate through the pages at some point the site hangs.

    Some times it needs 30-60 seconds to load a single page and that happens to random page. I tried to disable the plugins but didn’t solve the issue. Also my server admin checked the server but he didn’t find any fault.

    Any clues on this would be greatly appreciated.

  • I’ve tried browsing through 10+ links without any issues.

    But I did notice that you have social icons on the right that lead to the feed. From my experience, if there are loading issues with the feed, generally the page would take longer to load. If it happens again, I might suggest disabling the social icons and seeing if that’s the culprit.

    Thanks for your answer. You can’t see the slow load because the issue is found and fixed. It was a geolocation script that caused the delay.
