WordPress Spell checker missing

    I recently installed the latest version of WordPress through my host and the spell checker is missing? I’ve installed this version twice now with no spell check. Can someone clue me in as to what is going on?

  • I’ve been using WP for 7 months and wasn’t aware that is had a spell checker. I’ve read that the next version may have it though.

    But I’m willing to be wrong! Where, on this site, have you seen mention to the spell checking?

    there isn’t a spell checker in any version yet – HS is right, it’s set to be in the next release.

    Do a search for Editor Monkey.

    Oh, sorry.

    I just recently moved from WordPress.com that had a spell checker and wasn’t aware – never mind ?? Thanks! I’ll have to wait for the next version.
