• I’ve installed WordPress Stats into version 2.5 3 times now and it isn’t working. I cannot figure out what I’m doing wrong. I’ve activated it and uploated the stats.php file into my /wp-content/plugins file. I’ve entered my API key as it has asked for it. What else is there to do?

    The plugin is actived but isn’t recognizing visitors. I also have a different tracker that is recognizing visitors, so I know people have been to my blog.

    Can someone help me?

  • how long have you left it installed? It can take some time to gather data.

    It’s been a week now since the last install. Every day shows “O” for the number of visitors.

    I’m getting the same issue!
    I went into the Design and added the following to footer.php file from the wordpress dashboard as follows:

    <?php wp_footer(); ?>
    <?php do_action(‘wp_footer’); ?>

    The original footer did not say </body> before or after so I enclosed the section within </body> and am still not receiving any stats (although I know many people going to it). Whats the issue?
