WordPress Stats won't let administrators view stats

  • My site is self hosted.
    I used to be able to see stats using WordPress Stats plugin on the Dashboard page.
    Now I get this message:
    Your WordPress.com account, bevnewsdaily is not authorized to view the stats of this blog.
    The Administrator entry is blurred out and unchecked.
    How do I get access, as an adminsitrator, to the stats?
