• When I look into my log files and also my security plugin log I am shocked on how many attempts there are to break in.

WordPress is such a great platform, but it’s success and market saturation (about 20% of all websites run WordPress) makes it a high target for any sort of hacking. I have seen this only at that large scale when I was working years ago with Windows XP.

    Any thoughts on this?

Yes, I did. I have several security measurements in place and I also have a security plugin installed. However, I am referring in general to the fact that when a software reaches a high market saturation it automatically becomes a target. Simply by the fact that it makes it easier to propagate.

One issue I would like to see resolved in a future update is the problem with the admin name. Even if you choose to use a different name it can be exposed by searching for the author page.
