WordPress Text editor not working properly

  • My name is shubham agarwal and I run two blogs getechfeed and selectedwebhosting and I am unable to use the text editor properly on both the sites after upgrading to the new version i.e. pepper. The problem is that the drop down menu wont appear even after I click on it. Anyone who knows any plugin or any modification that can help me solve this problem is welcomed? and Thanks in advance.

  • Try clearing your browser cache Or disabling your plugins one by one and see if that resolves the issue.

    Clearing browser cash solve the problem.

    Thanks alot, the plugin wp edit was causing the problem. Deactivating it solved the problem.

    i have cleared cache and disabled all plugins with no change
    the problem is when creating new page/post the text editor does not work
    – i cannot switch from visual to text –

    i am using theme socrates
    this is a brand new wp press install

    Plus i cannot ‘add media’
    that button does not work either
