WordPress Theme Editor Missing -> Theme File Editor can’t be accessed

  • WordPress Theme Editor Missing!

    I can’t access theme files to edit for example functions.php. The wp-admin/site-editor.php all lead to a (Lemmony) configuraiton page “Design”:

    “Design
    Customise the appearance of your website using the block editor.”

    —

    I have tried to disable all plugins like security plugins but it still doesn’t have a theme file / file editor option so that I can edit files.

    Hello,

    Could you please test this with the default WordPress theme? Doing so will help us know if the issue is theme related. There are several reasons why the theme file editor might be missing, but it’s more likely related to the WordPress configuration.

    Additionally, as Lemmony supports full site editing, allowing almost everything to be overwritten via the site editor, we do not recommend using this feature.
