wordpress to match website.. HELP!!
-
This is driving me NUTS!!!
All i wanted was a simple add-in to add a blog page to my website, to increase user interaction.
For the life of me i can’t get wordpress to look like my webpage, witout major css styling changes… I’ve not done any real, web development since 2002 and i’m relatively new to css and php….
Just when i think i have it worked out, i upload the css and something else goes wrong AAARRRGGGHHHH!!!!I’ve installed wordpress onto my hosting server in a /blog folder, and now i’ve go so many duplicate file running around it’s rediculous… and chanes to my website have to be manually copied to wordpress installation folder.
So my question can i tell wordpress to look at my wwwroot instead of looking to /blog for my CSS files, images, default site header, footer and sidebar php files- i wanted to try and avoid absolute paths if possible.
Is there a website that tells me simply how to integrate wordpress onto my website, without to much more mucking around?
https://www.completept.com.au/beta is my beta site (exact replica), and https://www.completept.com.au/blog is the blog ste.
Cheers in advance
Dave
