WordPress Twenty Ten Theme Has Deleted All My Posts and Pages!

  • Hi Guys,

    Recently I’ve gone to my wordpress dashboard to do some editing and noticed that all of my posts and pages have disappeared in the twenty ten wordpress theme. I want to cry! The website I manage is https://chadarrington.com and I need your help really bad. Could someone please, please assist me. I would really need help figuring out what happened and how to get my blog back on track.

  • looks like you got them back.

    A theme cannot delete anything. The worst it can do is stop them from being displayed.

    Thanx. Guys that’s exactly what I meant the theme is preventing my post and page content from being displayed. Does anyone kno why this is? Could you help my figure out how to make my content reappear?? What can I do?

    I appreciate your help again, I am an honest person and this is a real issue.

    there is some content displayed – and only you can know if it is what you expect.

    if you say, that Twenty Ten is preventing this, have you tried to switch to a different theme, such as Twenty Eleven?

    next common trouble shooting: try to deactivate all plugins to see if thast solves the problem.
    if yes, re-activate one plugin after the other to find the trouble plugin.

    go to the page “my story”. There is suppose to be content their. It’s about 4 paragraphs of content that isn’t displaying.

    So you think deactivating and reactivating the plugins can show me a sign of what’s gone wrong? I’ll try that. That’s for assisting me continually.

    my suspicion is that this is caused by a plugin, which is suppressing your ‘real’ page content.

    That SEO tagging terms plugin that auto tags incoming search terms for the site. Do u think deactivating everything would be the best idea?!

    de-activating the plugins is part of a standard troubleshooting routine, particularly when switching to the unedited default theme does not solve the issue.
