• There’s got to be an easier way to place Facebook social buttons and comment box on selected pages or posts. Each time I create a post or page, I have to spend time figuring out how to remove the WordPress comment box and place my FB box on the page. It’s not always the same process and any slight slip and I have to start over trying to figure out how to get the FB box and social back on. I have installed Jetpack with social activated, I have social plugin, and I have code from FB for pasting into the page to place the FB comment box on the page. It’s too fickle and touchy. Is there an easy way? My site is https://roundhousetalk.com. I need a step by step standard that I can do for each page needing comments and buttons and turn off the WordPress comment box. Do I turn off the comments in the quick edit for the page and check or uncheck comments in the screen options, etc. It’s really confusing to me.

Can anybody help me on this issue? I want to do it as easy and simple as possible but I want the Facebook comment box and social buttons above or below it. Thanks.

I still haven’t resolved this issue. I have tried several things but still can’t get the consistency needed to make post uniform.

Can anyone tell me why no one answers requests for assistance in sorting out the facebook comments issues identified in this thread and several others I have posted since I started using wordpress? I’m sorry but it’s really frustrating to be unable to get this resolved. I know it’s probably really simple, but this is my first try at creating a site. Don’t mean to sound pushy, I just want to resolve this as my site looks erratic until this is resolved. Some pages have no comments, some have 1 and some have a wordpress comment and a facebook on the same page. https://roundhousetalk.com
