WordPress Update failed

  • We are currently using WordPress version 3.6.1. WordPress tried automatically updating to version 3.9.2, but failed. When I try updating it, I get this message:

    All of the categories when someone posts an article have disappeared and we can’t install any more plugins. How do I fix this and get it to install the update?
