• My WP installation is displaying a notification that one plugin requires updating, but according to the update system, all my plugins are up to date.

In the plugin section, all updates are reported up to date as well. This issue has been around for a while.

    Hi,

There could be two reasons for this, do you have any caching plugins or does your host provide any caching for you, if so try clearing the cache as that may some times get stuck like this.

If that’s not it, your theme might be bundling a plugin, try switching themes and see if the problem persist then, if it goes away you should contact your theme creator about the issue.

    That’s what I read too.

I do not use a cache plugin and I’ve checked with the theme but it doesn’t seem to be that either.

I’ve now deleted (not just disabled) all the plugins and themes that I don’t use, but the “One Update” is still here.

I’ll send an email to the theme developer, but I highly doubt that this is the problem.
