Please go to Dashboard >> Updates section in your WordPress Admin Area to check if there is any update pending.

    Hello,

As I mentioned before WordPress update notification visible at the dashboard and the updates section as well, however I’have updated it and I am using the latest version (5.4.2), but the notification says, an update available to the same (5.4.2) version.

    Hi @joni0808

Please go to Appearance >> Themes section and check if an update is available to any of your installed theme, if possible, please manually check versions of theme from your theme provider.

Also, do this same process with your plugins. First, check for updates in Plugins section and then manually check versions of your installed plugin from your plugin provider.

If you find any difference in versions, please reinstall in both cases.

One more thing I want you to do is to first deactivate your current theme (don’t delete it), then activate the default WordPress theme (Twenty Twenty).

If the problem still not resolves then you may require to reinstall WordPress. You can follow this tutorial to do that. Be careful on every step. ??
