• I am wondering why there is sooo much blank wasted space on the wordpress updates screen before the plugin updates section. The plugin section is compact and concise….

I keep waiting for this to be fixed/adjusted so that it looks more professional – is there anyway to reduce the blank space on this page? or can a request be submitted to make the updates page more current looking?

Cramming everything together to avoid wasting space isn’t always the most pleasing layout. A reasonable amount of whitespace is often desirable. It’s debatable how much is “reasonable”. It’s possible to apply custom admin CSS to reduce whitespace. It’s a little hacky, but you can output brief CSS within <style> tags from the “admin_print_styles” action hook.

Thank you I will try that, so the page doesnt look like 1999 and will print easier.
