WordPress Upgrade

  • Hi There,

    I have created a php.ini file and added a code max_input_vars = 4000. I update this file in wp-admin folder. This fix my issue.

    Issue: I have an error adding more menu items on WordPress menu.

    Please let me know if upgrade the WordPress from 4.0 4.0.1 is my php.ini file will be deleted?

    Is there any option to keep the file on the same location whenever there is an upgrade.

    Please help me on this. Thank You.

    Make a backup copy beforehand just in case, but I do not think WordPress will change or delete any files other than its own even though you have a file of your own inside one of its folders.
