WordPress upgrade taking 2 hours so far

Can you elaborate? Should I just do a standard upgrade on my own? I can’t access my dashboard right now. I’m just not sure what to do when it freezes in the middle of an upgrade.

Well, you have to cut bait sometime as something has gone wrong. Close the browser to end the session. Then, if you can still get to the dashboard try to upgrade wp again.

Use FTP do delete wp-admin and wp-includes folder, next uload it from latest wp package.
Replace also all files in wp root directory.

No. Do not replace the wp-config.php file or the htaccess.

Ok, I fixed it. My original problem was fixed by disabling plugins, which I should have done first. Opps
