https://www.gocuplin.com/ seems to be sort-of working, but you’re missing your images and stylesheet.

Those are individually returning 500 errors, like https://www.gocuplin.com/WordPress/wp-content/themes/optimizer_pro/style.css and https://www.gocuplin.com/WordPress/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/Site-header-e1428537327896.png

Internal server errors (error 500) are often caused by plugin or theme function conflicts, so if you have access to your admin panel, try deactivating all plugins. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue. If you don’t have access to your admin panel, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue.

If that does not resolve the issue, it’s possible that a .htaccess rule could be the source of the problem. To check for this, access your server via FTP or SFTP and rename the .htaccess file. If you can’t find a .htaccess file, make sure that you have set your FTP or SFTP client to view invisible files.

If you weren’t able to resolve the issue by either resetting your plugins and theme or renaming your .htaccess file, we may be able to help, but we’ll need a more detailed error message. Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for any errors that occurred during that time period. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you.

Thanks James, the issue occurred only when I changed the “WordPress Address (URL)” from https://03bb5e7.netsolhost.com/WordPress to https://www.gocuplin.com under the “Settings” and “General” tab. Before that the site was perfect.

I now cannot access my dashboard to change it back – https://03bb5e7.netsolhost.com/WordPress/wp-login.php
Can anyone else do this for me?

As for the FTP – this is not something I’ve done before or even understand – but am reading up on it now. Thanks for the help so far – any more help is greatly received. Matt

    Follow this guide: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL#Changing_the_URL_directly_in_the_database

You should be able to change the URL back.

Once you have, try doing the move properly following this guide: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Moving_WordPress#Changing_Your_Domain_Name_and_URLs

Thanks, but this is way beyond me! I’ve downloaded PHPmyAdmin, but it makes no sense as to what I can do with it. I’ve also spoken to Network Solutions who are the host and they offer no FTP access.

phpMyAdmin should available in your hosting provider’s control panel, it’s not something you install yourself.

Would you please confirm with Network Solution that they do not offer FTP or SFTP access? Because, if that’s true, that’s insane and you should move immediately. Any hosting provider worth being a customer of (even the terrible free ones that we don’t recommend) provide FTP access.

I’m with Network Solutions as they have my domain and email addresses.

And there is no way you/Wordpress can access my account and reverse the change I made yesterday?

That’s pretty terrible. Can I interest you in quite literally almost any other host? We have a few recommend ones at https://www.ads-software.com/hosting/

And there is no way you/Wordpress can access my account and reverse the change I made yesterday?

No, your blog is entirely self contained. We have no more access than one of your readers would.

I guess at this point you’ll need to just ask your hosting provider to do all of this for you, or move to a different hosting provider, which is honestly what I’d do.

OK, (and for anyone else reading this who is on Network Solutions) – I’ve been able to make the change using the guide you gave me:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL#Changing_the_URL_directly_in_the_database
Via a link I found on my Network Solutions WordPress account page. It’s titled “Edit WordPress Database” but to get the link to work you have to allow popups.
Thanks again for the support – I’m now going to try the HTAccess piece
