WordPress w/Cashie correct search box difficulties

Hi,
Widgetized home page in Cazuela. Search is at the end of main menu where I want it and below the menu where I do not want it.
Issues:
a) I can easily pop search widget onto the menu but it is the WordPress (blog) search, not the Cashie product search. Cashie provided Java script for their box. Also, you have to click on search before you can use it – there isn’t a box next to it/below it to type in your search.
b) Followed instructions in a forum and have a search box below the menu that pulls across the entire page – good coding as it obviously is based on %. I would like this search box if it were at the end of the main menu and searched Products.
c) Been trying to document any changes but had quite an interruption with the php 5.4 issue and now I’m a little lost.Help?
