I installed a WordPress widget called “Arbitrary text and HTML” onto the footer of my newsmagazine https://www.buellreview.com and the widget is called “BlogRoll” and only one name listed “www.newsninja2012.com. I want to either eliminate or alter this widget, and add to it in the text box, but I can’t find it and I did disable all my JetPack plugins, so it isn’t one of those! How do I get to where this widget is?

    OK.

Now – without doing anything else – can you see your widget area in Appearance -> Widgets?

Now my main sidebar is back! How did that happen?

    (@mrbenz7)

Yes, everything is back the way it used to be when I first started!

    Next step.

Try reactivating your plugins one-by-one – checking that you can still see your widget area in Appearance -> Widgets after each reactivation. Lets us know when you have completed this and what, if anything, happens.

While trying to contact you several times, I got an error message

BAD GATEWAY followed by nginx underneath

That was while trying to repost back to you!

I checked my site in this format and my “search” and “recent posts” are not on my site in Twenty Twelve even though they are active according to my dashboard.

    I got an error message

So did everyone else. It was just a temporary problem with the servers at www.ads-software.com.

You can still access the widget areas in Appearance -> Widgets, yes?

Now “search” and “Recent posts” just went live,

    (@mrbenz7)

Yes, I can still see them. I just can’t do anything with them.

So you’re a theme Diva? I’ll bet you have your hands full! Lol!

I hope it’s not a problem with Theme Alley, it’s a great layout, but if it is so be it!
