Hi Guys, I am with FastHosts but had a lot of problems with the SiteBuilder. I decided to try Word Press.

I have followed the instructions, set up MySQL Database, uploaded WordPress onto the FTP \htdocs but when I try to use the wp-admin/install.php with my domain all I get is a Google messsage saying “Oops this link appears to be brokwn”.

i have tried several times to rectify this and have uploaded WordPress several times I still get the same message. Any ideas what I am doing wrong!!

I was also getting a 404 error when trying to access the install.php file, but I was able to access html and txt files without trouble.
Having spoken to Fasthosts it transpired that I need to turn on ‘Web Scripting@ within the Fasthosts Control Panel.
Go to Hosting, choose your domain. The new page that opens will have your domain name beneath which it gives details of Server address, webs space etc.
Click on ‘Enable’ next to Web Scripting. On the next screen choose PHP5 and save.

Within 2 minutes I was able to access the install.php file and complete the WordPress installation.
