WordPress won't upgrade

You could try to manually update your core files by downloading them from https://www.ads-software.com/download and then upload them via your file editor or FTP uploader like FileZilla.

Of course Michele, *thats* what we’ve been doing. Its a major pain in the butt. What we’re asking is does anybody have a solution we could implement to get that admin update to work. Is this a common issue? Thanks.

Not that common, but it does happen – have you checked the ownership on the server?

I don’t know that it has anything more than the other article. Are you the host? If not, you might want to check with them if this still isn’t working properly.
