I am the administrator of the page. And no multisite.

One.com says that they don’t see any errors. And still keeps saying that i need to contact the forum here and the developer. Somehow it still does not work.

I tried last night installing it on a different webpage on one.com. There it worked just fine. I am a bit confused and irritated. ??

Please install the Health Check plugin then copy and paste the debug information over here for me.

    Watching for your reply.

    The health check says this
“” A plugin has prevented updates by disabling wp_version_check(). “”

While that is useful info about wp_version_check I do not believe it is the reason your database can not be updated. I still believe the problem is user permissions for the user account that is connecting to the database. I believe that the db user does not have the correct permissions the plugin requires for install. Sometimes when a db user is added to a specific database it is given only limited permissions.

I did not look closely at the code for the plugin but some plugins use the update commend while others use the create command for adding tables and I am pretty sure this plugin you are trying to add needs to create tables. I would suggest asking the plugin developer for further support as I am not familiar with this plugin and there does not seem to be anything significantly wrong with the site based on the info provided by health check.

You can get support form the plugin developer here. I’ve also tagged the plugin in the tags related to this post so maybe the developer will reply right here in this thread. Sorry I could not be of more help.

How do i find the plugin missing the wp_version_check ?
As it seems that it could be a problem.

Having wp_version_check disabled is not necessarily a bad thing as long as you just make it a point to run updates once a month or even every couple weeks you don’t really need version check on. However, if you really want to know which plugin is.. Use Health Check to disable plugins for the current user and then reenable them all one-by-one to see which one is disabling it.

    Hope that helps.
