    Hi

I have a question regarding Google Analytics with WordPress & Woocommerce .

Which plugin is best to analyse for google analytics.?

I have a client who I use both the Google Analytics for WooCommerce

AND Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights

Is there a point in using both ? Or if it is a Woocommerce website I just used the first one

I have a client who I uses both of these plugins above for woocommerce client.

And if it is a non woocommerce website just use the other one? Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights

Or if a Woocommerce website do I use both ?

Sorry I’m a bit confused on what is right to do so it doesn’t miss important information/stats in Google Analytics and the website.

    Thanks

    Kristin

  • Hello Kristin @kristinubute,

    Thank you for reaching out.

If you’re running a WooCommerce store, Google Analytics for WooCommerce should suffice, as it’s specifically designed to track eCommerce metrics. It integrates seamlessly with your WooCommerce store and provides detailed insights about your customers and their shopping behavior.

On the other hand, if you’re running a non-WooCommerce WordPress site, Google Analytics for WordPress would be ideal. It is a powerful tool that provides a broad range of data about your site’s visitors, their behavior, and the performance of your content.

In summary, for a WooCommerce website, you should only need Google Analytics for WooCommerce, and for a non-WooCommerce WordPress site, Google Analytics for WordPress should be enough.

I hope this clarifies any confusion.
