I have a question about editing existing content.

With new content, it’s pretty easy to allow someone the ability to write a page or a post and then have a manager come along and approve that new page or post to be published.

How do you deal with existing or old content?

How do you easily allow someone the ability to edit an existing page without making changes to the live page? Then have another person approve those edits?

I have seen plugins that duplicate blog posts or ways to have a staging environment, however that seems to be rather fiddly and time intensive.

Maybe there is an easy way to accomplish this and I am overlooking the obvious.
