Good news: both are “functional” so they can be placed without asking consent.

Now, why are they not visible? Wordpres_sec is a so-called admin cookie. This means only you as the admin gets this cookie, and it is pointless to mention it on the public cookie policy. It was probably detected in the scan but already with a message that it is an admin cookie that by default will not be shown on the policy.

test_cookie should normally only appear on your site and in your policy if your site has other users with some sort of access to the wp-admin part of the website. Please check your given answer in the wizard under General > Website information.

Hi. Mathieu. Yes, I know they are functional. But the point is that I’m loged in my administration in Chrome. And I’m watching the public side in Edge. So I don’t understand why I can see these cookies as a normal user, but the scan doesn’t find them. Thanks in advance.

Hi, That is strange….
Are you using an incognito browsertab in edge? And where on your website did it happen that the cookies were actually placed? Because I have just visited several pages on your website using chrome in an incognito browser (making sure that no other cookies from previous visits were detected), and the two cookies you mention are not being placed. I did see the Google cookies you mention in your other thread.

I also did notice that your cookie policy has not been updated since June 9th. So your policy actually does mention some cookies and services (such as GDPR Cookie Consent) that probably are no longer in use on your website, and may have been influencing the initial scan.
And it also means that any new services or cookies have not been picked up since that day. Maybe a new scan will do the trick. Hi Mathew. No, I’m not using an incognito browsertab in Edge. These WordPress cookies appear when the client enter in her/his account. The problem with the Google services isn’t solved either. The isue with the cookie policy is strange as well. I have scanned the web several times, but the policy says it was updated on June 9th. I have accesed the page and have updated the page, nothing changes. But if you go to the bottom of the page it says the policy has been synchronized on June 22nd. So what…

I have cleared the cache in the web and I have deleted the cookies in the plugin many times. But each time I clear the cookies and start from the begining it is worse than before. No matters what I do. The scan recognize cookies pertaining services that doesn’t exist. At the same time it is unable to find some cookies that are present in the browser. Some cookies that were previously detected have now disappeared (stripe_sid, many related to WooCommerce, Automattic..). Where are they? No idea. I have the same services and the same cookies than a week before. The scan shows services that doesn’t appear later in the policy, Google Fonts, for instance. What can I do? Thanks in advance.
