WordPress.com Popular Posts NOT Showing Posts consistently

Hi, I installed the plug-in few days ago. It is on my left side-bar just under my tag cloud:

It was blank for a few minutes. then it populated, correctly, my top posts.
Then it has disappeared. I have checked, the widget is active in sidebar. I do not see any errors. The title appears: “Most Popular” – Custom title that I added – but no posts.
Please advise.
I checked in 3 browsers, latest versions: IE, Chrome, and FF. Same everywhere.
