    Hi

I have been using the WP stats plug in for over 2 years and is fantastic. However, since yesterday, when I try to view my site stats, I get the below message:

Your WordPress.com account, spanishaid is not authorized to view the stats of this blog.

Does anyone know why and how to resolve this?

Thanks a lot for your help

  • I have noted exactly the same thing.
So I guess the best remedy is to do something else for a few hours, and then check back again…

Been having the same prob for over 24 hours.

I did that yesterday and it works for a bit, but today it does not work at all. I have tried to deactivate and reactivate the plug-in but it did not work. I don’t want to delete it and reinstall it because I will lose all my date.
Has anyone found any solutions to this?
    Thank you for your help

The same issue happened to me. Yesterday’s message said that some sites were having a problem with the stats and they were working on it. Today’s message just says as per luisiher’s post. Does one remove the stats plugin and re-load it?

I use the programme a lot, so I’m keen to get it up and working again. It’s been down for more than a few hours now.

Please add me to the list…
    24 hours and counting…

i have the same problem… first it said there were problems and today it says i’m not allowed to see stats. ??

It’s a known issue and wordpress.com are working on it.

i don’t know why but instaling Jetpack plugin, stats work again

    No for me it says

Module could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Perhaps there is a conflict with another plugin you have installed?

But if it is a known Issue we will have to wait

    Same issue here…

I have the same issue, and the problem is also discussed on wordpress.com forums, but there seems not to be a real solution yet. For me, jetpack seems to work, but I’d like the other plugin to work.

I’ll add my name to the list.Hope it gets fixed soon!

Same here, yesterday it said there was problems, today it says I’m not authorized to view stats.

Add my name to the list too. My authorization to view the stats has apparently been revoked.

Same as rjhayton’s response. Yesterday it said that there were known problems and that WordPress was working on it. But today it says simply (and grimly!) that I am not authorized to view my stats.

This is rather inconvenient when I am doing public relations work for a non-profit agency in Edinburgh this week and I can’t even tell them how many hits we are getting.
