    Hi

I have been using the WP stats plug in for over 2 years and is fantastic. However, since yesterday, when I try to view my site stats, I get the below message:

Your WordPress.com account, spanishaid is not authorized to view the stats of this blog.

Does anyone know why and how to resolve this?

Thanks a lot for your help

Is sitll not working – I get the same message

    Update

My Graph is showing Hits, but nothing else…
    Top Post – NO
    Most Active – NO

    As for my API key…
Playing stupid here for a second…
My Akismet API Key seems fine, or should I say, it is there…
Was NOT aware there was an API Key for Stats (or are they the same…)

Might be a good time to consider an additional stats solution. Personally, I use Google Analytics as well as WordPress Stats.

@danoftheday – I’m right there with you on that, but GA is NOT live data…

@alseymour – Actually, it is fairly live. The current day’s stats are not shown by default, but you can change the time window to view them. I have found data shows up within at least one hour, if not sooner.

Put my name on the list as-well.
This so annoying, what went wrong?

I have the same problem too.. Mine says
Your WordPress.com account, xxxxxxxx is not authorized to view the stats of this blog.
    ?? pls help…

I’ve got this problem on 2 sites.

Your WordPress.com account, xxxxxxxx is not authorized to view the stats of this blog.

Same problem. Make an announcement already, and just quit saying “see the other threads” when there has been NO official answer in any of the threads that I can find.

Everything was working JUST FINE then suddenly I’m no longer authorized to view my own stats!

I had the same problem, installed the Jetpack plug-in, and now my two blogs are working fine. I actually like the Jetpack stats display better than the WP one, and also they load much quicker.

If you intend to install Jetpack make sure that you’ve upgraded to the latest version of WP (version 3.1) Jetpack only works on versions 3.0.5 and higher.

    I still “running” on 1 of 4 cylinders…
and have noticed my site does not seem as quick as it once was…

Serious considering dumping dump WP Stats for Jetpack…

    Update

    Removed Stats…

Gone to JetPack and things seem to be back to normal!

    Yeah!

So you have removed WP Stats pluging and gone with JetPack?

I wish wp stats come back I dont want to lose all my previous stats.

    Is anyone looking into this?

    Thanks

    @luisiher

    1) Disabled at the moment;
    2) You don’t, or I didn’t…

+ There are some other ‘things’ that one gets, so it seems to be a nice trade off…

    for the moment…

    A-)

Yes you are right. I have tried JetPack and the stats are good it even track previous stats. So that’s fine

    Thanks
