• I’ve just bitten the bullet and upgraded my WordPress.com URL over to a webhost (iPage), to allow me to have plug-ins etc.

This seems to have gone smoothly and I have clicked in iPage to install and use WordPress as my editor. Only problem is I find myself with exactly the same functions and features of WordPress as I had before. I thought there would be additional editing options to allow me to ‘activate plug-ins’ etc. I must have done something wrong, or missed a trick, but can’t work it out.

Any help would be very gratefully received!

    Thanks, lemonworldgirl ??

ps. I’ve used the guide on here to look it up and a ‘Plug-ins’ option should appear in the left sidebar of the dashboard – below ‘Appearance’ but I don’t have the option displaying ?? It’s driving me crazy!

Have asked iPage, but they have referred me back to WordPress.
