WordPress.com to Worpress.org domain issues

Hi,

I recently purchased a domain name with 1and1 and linked to my WordPress.com page. Today, i realised i would rather use www.ads-software.com and so i downloaded a 1and1 click and build application for www.ads-software.com and connected to my domain name thevida.co.uk.

When i originally set-up with WordPress.com i mapped the correct DNS servers in order to connect with the domain name and so i deleted these this morning and then deleted my whole WordPress.com account.

However, although through my 1and1 hosting account the www.ads-software.com is linked to my domain name thevida.co.uk, when i type the domain name in, it brings up my old WordPress.com account thatvidagirl.wordpress.com and states the account is no longer available (obviously because i deleted it) But why is it still linking to my WordPress.com account?
