• Haven’t started using the WordPress software as of yet just wanted to clarify a few things before I install/start using it.

So stupidly I didn’t do much research before paying for a premium account on WordPress.com, and after realising I can’t add plugins on WordPress.com I’m considering hosting a web domain through Bluehost and downloading the software from www.ads-software.com. I don’t have any content on the website as of yet (luckily) so there is no need for me to transfer anything! I’m just wondering whether I need a premium account with WordPress.com to use www.ads-software.com? Or is it completely different?

I’m still within the 48 hour refund timeframe so that is still an option to get my money back (and put it towards the cost of Bluehost) just wondering if I get a refund will the domain name I bought through WordPress.com be available or not? Can I change it first before I get a refund and hopefully by doing so make it available? I’m new to this someone please help!!!! :))

    Hello,

No, you do not need a wordpress.com account to use www.ads-software.com software.

You will need a FQDN and hosting provider, or your own server setup correctly.

There are some plugins that come with www.ads-software.com that requires only a free wordpress.com account to use ie: akismet, jetpack. but other than that you are free to install Custom themes and Plugins that you would like.
