why do you need to get to that?

Well, maybe I’m on the wrong track but it says on the first link to fix it back to go to my wp-config.php
and put in this:

define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://example.com’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://example.com’);

I’m so confused, sorry. My website is this, if it helps.

Add these lines to the file, then upload it to fix the problem.

your wp-config.php is in the root of your wordpress install
use ftp client or host’s file manager to edit

Do I tag that onto my website name? When I go to log in now it redirects me to an invalid website (the one I accidentally changed it to) and I can’t get in the dashboard any longer.

you need to open the wp-config.php in a plain text editor and add the lines above

define('WP_HOME','https://jamimaciulaphotography.com');
define('WP_SITEURL','https://jamimaciulaphotography.com');

or use one of the other methods

Ok, I download a plain text editor for my Mac. I’ve got it open, now do I type in the above link exactly? How do I open the wp-config.php in the editor?

I’m still trying to get the blog to change back over without success. I have downloaded a plain text editor, but I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do with it at this point. When I try to log into my site I’m redirected to an invalid website page.

use your ftp client or host’s file manager to download it to your desk top
open – edit – save
upload it back to where you got it form – your wordpress root
