/wordpress/wp-admin/admin.php blank page after login
-
I know absolutely nothing about wordpress, but i’ve been working with servers and hosting and things for a while now.
I have a dedicated server that I have 100% access to. (I mean it is sitting here in my apartment)
I’m using Windows Server 2012 Datacenter Edition.
Webserver: IIS 8.0.9200.16384
Database: mysql Ver. 14.14 Distrib 5.6.12 (it’s the community version from oracle)
PHP: version 5.5.0
Wordpress: 3.5.2I’ve already got an active dns service keeping my domain mapped to my server. I’ve successfully setup name-based hosting through IIS. I’ve configured all the mime-types, module-mappings, and CGI stuff correctly. I’ve edited the php.ini file to make it work. I’ve done everything I can think to do… and most of my wordpress site seems to be working correctly… but I was told I should see a page if I login to the domain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/admin.php. I do see a login page when I pull that page up, but right after I login, it gives me a blank page. A lot of the other wordpress pages work correctly, including domain.com/wordpress/wp-admin/index.php… just not the admin page. I don’t know what could be going wrong, but i’ve read so many articles, read so many forum post, and spent so many hours on this… I’m just ready to solve it. By the way, this is not an upgrade or anything of that nature… I’ve conducted like 8 fresh installs of wordpress 3.5.2 over the past week.
